There are two long paddling routes maintained by the municipality of Mäntyharju. Each route covers approximately 50 kilometres. Along the Mäntyharju-Repovesi route you can stop at cafés, sleep in comfort and enjoy a sauna, whereas the Keisarinlähde Loop is more of a wilderness route.

The route to Repovesi National Park is part of the old Savonselkä paddling loop and continues onwards towards Kouvola and Verla. Along the way you will find plenty of accommodation, a memorial to the Treaty of Turku and prehistoric rock paintings. There are also saunas for rent.

The Keisarinlähde Loop is different both in terms of scenery and paddling. Along the way you can enjoy impressive natural sights, including also prehistoric rock paintings.
