Nature trails

Mäntyharju to Repovesi National Park

During the renovation of the mountain bike and hiking trails to the national park, places of special biological and geological interest were taken into consideration, and info boards describing them were introduced along the trails. Information about the nature and species was compiled by wilderness and nature guide Eerikki Rundgren.

Immo nature trail

Several info boards describing local history and natural features can be found along the Immo nature trail, which is situated opposite the Art Centre Salmela. The trail winds along the shore of Siirlahti bay and continues over the arched footbridge to a nature church.

Forest Playground

This attractive play park by the Kisala Sports Hall (Urheilutie 1, 52700 Mäntyharju) was designed by local children and features a short nature trail with info boards describing seasonal changes in poetic form.
